The Herberger Institute School of Arts, Media and Engineering is shaping our future digital media developers and experts, an increasingly important area of our culture and economy. Yet School of Arts, Media and Engineering students learn more than experiential media development; they learn how to apply their creations to improve the lives of others. This ranges from developing better rehabilitation therapies for stroke survivors to creating digital educational materials adapted to students who would not meet their potential using traditional teaching methods. The result is not only a more rewarding and comprehensive educational experience for School of Arts, Media and Engineering students, but also a greater community benefit from our research.
We invite you to contribute to the School of Arts, Media and Engineering’s mission, helping us to create innovative media systems that improve the human condition and to teach students about the impact their research can have on real world problems.
