Education: Degrees

The Arts, Media and Engineering (AME) program offers a unique Media Arts and Sciences Ph.D. program, in which students focus on translating and transporting knowledge across disciplines. This transdisciplinary degree is heavily focused on collaborative research, with courses complementing research activities.

AME also offers digital media concentrations to students pursuing master's and Ph.D. degrees in 10 different disciplines. Concentration students take two-thirds of their coursework through their unit and one-third of their coursework with AME. All concentrations include substantial credit hours devoted to interdisciplinary research and thesis work within the AME research network.
